My Recovery Day Adds Erin Sipos to Its Leadership Team as its First Community Support Director

CLEVELAND, OHIO – 3RTEC, Inc. dba My Recovery Day, a NE Ohio based nonprofit providing help and hope to individuals in recovery, announced this week that Erin Sipos has joined the leadership team as its first Community Support Director. “Ms. Sipos is a welcomed addition to My Recovery Day’s leadership team.  Her role is to develop relationships with other businesses, healthcare and government organizations to help us support our recovery community,” said Bill Tymoszczuk, Executive Director.

Ms. Sipos joined My Recovery Day as its Community Support Director on January 1, 2021.  She has an extensive and accomplished managerial background in the hospitality industry holding leadership positions at Executive Caterers, Driftwood and Covelli Enterprises.   Ms. Sipos is also the Executive Director and founder for the MAC Foundation, a very successful foundation that supports the residents of Mayfield Area Communities that are going through difficult times with basic needs and even scholarships.  Her enthusiasm and love for others guides her motivation to also provide encouragement to local frontline safety and healthcare workers during these difficult times.  Her community achievements have not been unnoticed.  Ms. Sipos was awarded the Mayfield Heights citizen of the year.

“It is important that our corporate and civic leaders know that there are options out there to help the recovery community through My Recovery Day.  My role is to show them how,” says Erin Sipos.  Over 81,000 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States in the 12 months ending in May 2020, the highest number of overdose deaths ever recorded in a 12-month period, according to recent provisional data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). “This statistic is very alarming and we need to pull together at all levels to reverse it,” according to My Recovery Day’s Community Outreach Director, Allison Glantzis.  “Working in tandem with Ms. Sipos will be very exciting for My Recovery Day and our community.”

Ms. Sipos is a NE Ohio resident, graduating from Mayfield High School in 1996. She is a loving wife and mother to three amazing children who has an inner commitment to serve others.  She is also very active in 12 step recovery work.

About My Recovery Day

Founded in 2016, My Recovery Day’s mission is to develop and provide follow up support resources to individuals recovering from addictions, giving them the help and hope they need for sustainable recovery.   My Recovery Day provides the following programs to support its mission:

  1. The J.O.B.S. Program.

My Recovery Day provides technology training focused on generating income online in a safe and sober environment.  Our “J.O.B.S.” (Just Online Being Sober) Program participants use donated items from individuals and organizations to sell on various online platforms such as eBay, Etsy, OfferUp and others.  Participants learn technology skills such as keyboarding, digital photography and editing in a classroom setting while earning up to half of all proceeds from their online sales.

  1. The Recovery Bank.

My Recovery Day offers a free resource for individuals to get smaller appliances, kitchenware, general household, bathroom items and more.  Items are new to gently used condition from donations we receive and set aside.   It is available to individuals that have gone through treatment or sober living housing and need some basics to start again.  Larger items like refrigerators, couches, dining room sets and such can be requested and fulfilled when a donation is presented to us.

  1. Mobile Recovery App Development.

The free “4Today” mobile app provides recovery resources at your fingertips to keep you on the right path to recovery one day at a time.   From the home screen there is a recovery counter, user uploaded photos to remind you of why your recovery is important and icons to give you access to a meeting finder, progress reports and other recovery resources.

Our objective is simple: to work with other leaders and providers in addiction recovery to help us build upon these three programs.   Our vision for every individual in addiction recovery is to stay in recovery allowing God to work through their lives providing them with purpose and passion.

Hope is the most cherished gift you can give anyone struggling in recovery!
